A personal welcome

Dear visitor, I set out on this journey with one goal in mind - to become completely free & independent - I am sure many of you can relate to the fact that life has changed rapidly over the past few years, and work is not always guarantueed around us anymore. I was stuck and looking for a way forward no that our economic system is changing fast. The internet has given us many options, it's on us how to use it. I set out on this journey years ago, like many of you, and the Freelyran spirit is to inform others on how this journey as a 'digital' nomad can progress. Everybody has different roads to take in life. You are invited to join on a part of this experience.

The strategy is to post updates, blogs & a bunch of free - and hopefully interesting - content. The world wide web can be a strange place to hang out. You can find the weirdest things. Let's say I've done some filtering and research on how to make a living online, after a career in aviation and the corporate world. I like to share what I am learnning and experiencing here. I'm not an expert on anything. In fact, I've lost trust in many of the so-called 'experts'. 'Generalist' is more appropriate and in some cases 'amateur' is just the truth, LOL! Luckily, that does not really matter, because there are a lot of great people working out there, like designers, programmers, developers, and other brilliant people that I will have to call for sure one day. I am a human being and if you are one too, I'd like to meet you outside the digital world in the future.

Here we are, today, online. Take full advantage of what you find on the site. If you like to work remotely, feel free to send a message. If you have work to do, feel free to do the same!
